Magdalena Pawlisz is one of the Conducting Fellows of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania for the 2024/25 season, at the invitation of Diane Wittry, the orchestra’s Music Director.
The ASO-sponsored assistantship took place from 5th to 9th February 2025. Magdalena acted as a cover conductor in the concert series featuring the following works:
Gustav Mahler, Symphony No.4 in G major
Grażyna Bacewicz, Concerto for String Orchestra
Richard Wagner, Overture to Tannhäuser, WWV 70 (Dresden version)
Magdalena was present in media outlets and promotional events around Lehigh Valley.
